The Non-Varsity Women’s Choir came home from the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest with a Sweepstakes award…receiving a majority of top scores in both events.

The Varsity Choirs were awarded two more sweepstakes trophies.  The Varsity Women received top scores in sight-reading while the Varsity Men were given majority top scores in both events.  The crowning achievement of the week occurred when all six judges awarded the Varsity Mixed Choir with straight 1’s, the best score a choir can receive.

The WEHS Non-Varsity Women’s choir earned a sweepstakes trophy at the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest held April 9 at Allen High School.
